OUR CURRENT HISTORY Our NOSTALGIC CHRYSLER PRODUCTS CLUB in the NEW JERSEY SHORE REGION WAS REORGANIZED AS AN INDEPENDENT AND LOCAL CHRYSLER PRODUCTS CLUB EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2024. Prior to this, our fellowship was chartered in 1997 as The New Jersey Shore Region of The National Chrysler Products Club. SINCE THE National Chrysler Products Club WAS IN THE PROCESS OF CLOSING DOWN IN 2023, and after celebrating our 25th year as ''The NCPC New Jersey Shore Region'', WE WERE LEFT WITH NO ALTERNATIVE BUT TO REFORM OUR FELLOWSHIP, CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS INTO A NON-PROFIT, INDEPENDENT AND LOCAL CLUB KNOWN AS..... ''NOSTALGIC CHRYSLER PRODUCTS CLUB in the NEW JERSEY SHORE REGION'' area!
OUR PREVIOUS HISTORY The National Chrysler Products Club was founded in 1979. A charter was granted to Michael W Riebe to form The New Jersey Shore Region of the NCPC in 1997. We enjoyed great times and memories for the past quarter of a century! Photos of our events through those years are ''archived'' on this website. We look forward to continuing our traditions of family, fun and friendship under the banner of our reorganized Nostalgic Chrysler Products Club.
OUR MISSION 1. preservation, restoration, exhibition, and use of Chrysler related cars and trucks and its early predecessors 2. collection, recording and preservation of Chrysler historical data3. presentation to the public of the story of Chrysler Corporation and contribution to the automotive industry 4. promotion of good fellowship among members 5. Family! Fun! Friendship!
WE ARE UNIQUE WHILE MANY CLUBS FOCUS ON AN ERA, BODY TYPE, ENGINE OR SINGLE MARQUE, OUR NOSTALGIC CHRYSLER PRODUCTS CLUB (along with the W.P.C. Club and a few others) ARE UNIQUE AMONG ''MOPAR'' CLUBS SINCE WE CELEBRATE THE ENTIRE SCOPE OF CHRYSLER PRODUCT VEHICLES FROM THE OLDEST TO THE NEWEST RIGHT OFF THE SHOWROOM FLOOR! PERHAPS WITH YOUR MOPAR YOU CAN ADD YET, ANOTHER PIECE OF HISTORY TO OUR ROSTER AND ADD A PIECE TO THE ''PUZZLE'' OF OUR MOPAR VEHICLES! LET'S GET TOGETHER Our NOSTALGIC CHRYSLER PRODUCTS CLUB NJ SHORE REGION gets together the FIRST TUESDAY OF THE MONTH, APRIL, MAY & JUNE AT ARTISANS RESTAURANT & BREWERY, SEA COURT PAVILION, TOMS RIVER, and JULY, AUGUST & SEPTEMBER at STEWART'S ROOTBEER,ROUTE 35 SOUTH, ON THE BAY IN SEASIDE HEIGHTS. (If it rains, we meet at ARTISANS!) Most members arrive by 6:30 PM for dinner or drinks or desert. The evening's special activity begins before 8PM. Parking for our vehicles is in a reserved section at our events.
Other scheduled annual activities include our ''HERSHEY KICKOFF'' AWARDS LUNCHEON AT ARTISANS ON THE FIRST SUNDAY IN OCTOBER, PARTICIPATING IN THE COLUMBUS DAY PARADE & CAR DISPLAY IN SEASIDE HEIGHTS AND A CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY LUNCHEON ON A SUNDAY IN DECEMBER. IN MARCH, WE HOLD A SUNDAY LUNCHEON AT A SELECT RESTAURANT FOLLOWED BY A SURPRISE CRUISE TO A TOUR DESTINATION. Members also plan get-togethers at various Cruise Nights, Shows or Festivals. NOSTALGIC CHRYSLER PEOPLE CLUB WE HAVE BECOME A CLUB OF FRIENDS!!! WE ENJOY EACH OTHER'S COMPANY AND WE CARE ABOUT EACH OTHER Want to know about Chrysler vehicles??? WE are the experts! Each of our members has expertise in some aspects of our hobby...historical, mechanical, technical, preservation, research, statistical, restoration, literature, etc. When we are together in one room... the past becomes the present! WOW! Of course, every member has their favorite era. We learn from each other as the knowledge and enthusiasm of each member rubs off on the rest of us...
